Direk Joel Lamangan helms the newest Kapuso series, Pamilya Roces. This stars Carla Abellana, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Sophie Albert and Shaira Diaz.
One of those actresses was scolded by direk Joel for being late. PEP.ph revealed this in a video uploaded on YouTube.

Carla admitted she’s an early bird and she couldn’t bear the thought of being late. Shaira, on the other hand, has never been late when it comes to Pamilya Roces. Jasmine, at first, wasn’t sure but later clarified she hasn’t been late to arrive on set.
Sophie readily admitted that she was guilty of being late.

Sophie defended herself, noting that she was not unprofessional.
“Napagalitan po ako ni Direk Joel Lamangan. Pero kasi, naligaw naman kasi kami sa Batangas kaya ako na-late. I suffered naman the consequences. So, thank you very much, it won’t happen again.”
When asked how she got scolded, Sophie tried to mimic Direk Joel’s voice and demonstrated:
“Pagdating ko sa set, sinabi sa akin ni Direk Joel: ‘I don’t wait for anyone on the set!’ Ganun. After ng take, sabi ko lang, ‘Sorry, direk.’ ‘It’s okay, just don’t do it again.’ Ganun lang naman. Pero siyempre, first time kong na-ganun. So, mangiyak-ngiyak ako. ‘Yung eksena namin ni Rocco, nakakatawa, pero pa-ano ‘yung luha ko.”
Sophie has learned her lesson.
