- ‘Halik’ continues to rise in National ratings
- Viewers hooked on the stories of Lino, Jacky, Ace, and Jade
The rising national TV ratings of “Halik” prove that viewers keep getting hooked on the show and its intriguing stories about the relationships of Lino (Jericho Rosales), Jacky (Yen Santos), Ace (Sam Milby), and Jade (Yam Concepcion) after it reached a new all-time high rating last Wednesday (September 26), where Ace revealed that he has fallen for Jade.
The episode reached a national TV rating of 21.3%, 9.8 points higher than its rival show “Inday Will Always Love You.” It also showed that Lino and Jade also reached a breaking point in the episode after Jade insulted Lino’s family. Meanwhile, Jacky continued her search for her long lost biological father.
Meanwhile, netizens were in a frenzy over the episode as its hashtag #HalikNgNahuhulog trended on Twitter.
@Jhennizer_tdc tweeted what she learned from the episode, “This episode shows us that no matter how much we are loved by a person, mauubusan din sila ng pasensya kung palagi nalang sila umiintindi. At kung palagi nalang sila nasisisi when in fact we’re all prone to make mistakes. @RSBDramaUnitNew every night may lesson #HalikNgNahuhulog”
While @sincerelyriri_ tweeted how attached she has gotten to the show, “hirap na hirap bumitaw sa “Halik,” “yung naiistress ka na panuroing pero ayaw mo naman palamapasin yugn bawat episode kasi sabik kang malaman ano ang susunod na magyayare. #HalikNgNahuhulog”
@19sexybutterlfy praised the showrunners of “Halik,” She said, “Magaling ang casting ng Halik!! Iba dn tong @RSBDramaUnitNew gumawa eh…. masakit sa dibdib ang eksina gani gabi!!! #HalikNgNahuhulog”
The next episodes showed Ace continuing his pursuit of Jade as Lino gives her some space to think. Meanwhile, Jacky is reeling from finding a man who is supposedly her biological father, but realizes he wants nothing to do with her.
Who will be able to win back Jade, her husband Lino or her lover Ace? Will Jade ever realize that Lino and Jacky are not having an affair? Will Jacky ever learn the real truth about her family?
