- Lucky FREEnet users got to win fun and special prizes from FREEnet.
- OPM artists gave a concert to remember.
Some of the best OPM artists of today got together at the Freeniversaya: A FREEnet Concert, Voyager’s way of celebrating FREEnet’s 3rd anniversary, on September 20 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Before the artists took on the spotlight, Freenet users had their own moments first. Freenet gave freenetizens who attended the concert prizes given by Smart Padala, Lendr, Air Asia, and Akulaku. Made more fun and special by hosts Luis Manzano and Kaladkaren Davila, three lucky concert-goers took home a brand-new SZ16, a trip for two to Taiwan, and 1 million freenet points, respectively. Meanwhile, the rest of the freeniversaya concert crowd were able to score cashbacks from PayMaya through its prepaid load flash sale, as well as when they pay via PayMaya QR in select merchants inside the concert venue.
The fun started with some dose of kilig brought by the Hashtags. The group performed dance covers as well as their original song, “Ako Lang Sana.”
Ben&Ben brought the crowd into a roller coaster of emotions as they performed their hugot songs “Maybe The Night,” “Leaves,” “Branches,” and “Kathang Isip.”
Gloc 9 hyped up the crowd even more with his set that’s somehow nostalgic. He performed some of his hit songs “Upuan,” “Sirena,” “Sumayaw Ka,” “Magdalena,” and his rendition of Francis Magalona’s “Kaleidoscope World.”
Gloc 9 then called on the stage Shanti Dope to sing their collaboration song “ShantiDope” which talks about him leaving his legacy to a talented, young rap artist.
Shanti Dope then continued on with his rendition of the crowd favorites “Nadarang” and “MAU.”
Moira Dela Torre serenaded the crowd with her heartfelt songs “Torete,” “Malaya,” and “Tagpuan,” which she performed with her fiance Jason Marvin. Her set was a bit emotional but the singer carried on with her song “Titibo-Tibo.”
KZ Tandingan took the audience into a full-on favorite OPM hits. KZ also performed her renditions of “Rolling In The Deep,” “Till My Heartaches End,” and “Two Less Lonely People In The World.”
Bamboo wrapped up the night with his classic songs that got the audience rocking the night away.
