- Chie Filomeno asked bashers to stop body-shaming.
- Although she got the sultry look right, bashers laughed at her flat chest.
- Chie posted her message about this.
Chie Filomeno is one of the new Kapamilya stars who came ready in the recently held ABS-CBN Ball. Boom Sason designed and created Chie’s gown. It had diamonds everywhere and a soft trail. She shone throughout the night with her glittery jewelry and make-up.
Her glamorous look, however, was belittled by bashers who insulted her for her flat chest.
Still fab.
Chie posted a photo of her in mid-laugh, putting one over her online detractors.
“Magic caught me in my element. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA AT ZE BASHERS FLAT MAN KO PERO FAB PA RIN, DZAII
“
Body-shaming.
A basher, @contaxlensph, noted how the photo was edited.
“Edited na ito, yung raw pic kita talaga ang buto-buto na pang bulalo.”
Chie replied, mentioning how bulalo actually tastes good.
“101% not edited friend uy bulalo!! at least masarap hehehe”
Chie added that the basher should stop body-shaming.
“omg!! Stop already!! Body shaming is not okay!! It’s never an option! I hope whatever you’re going through now, sana malagpasan mo para maging masaya ka naman at hindi ka na manlait.”
Calling out body-shamers.
Chie posted a lengthy message on her Instagram Story.
“We live in a society that demands so much from us, you have to be this, you have to be that well in fact you just have to be YOU! You do you! How sad that there are so many cruel people in this amazing universe, and that some girls are bringing each other down when we should be the one lifting each other up. Body shaming is not okay, it’ll never be okay. Not ever. Body shaming needs to stop! Fat or skinny may it be a woman or a man. It needs to stop. Everyone is beautiful in their own skin don’t let them tell you otherwise. Stop talking about fat or skinny women or men like their bodies are a tragedy. Their bodies are beautiful. Every body is beautiful. We are all beautiful! No body is a tragedy. And don’t ever let anyone shame you for being you.”
She re-posted this on her Twitter account, stressing: “Body-shaming is not okay. It’ll never be okay. Not ever.”
