- “First Love” rolled out in cinemas on October 17.
- The movie earned over P6-million on its opening day.
- The production is expecting better results on the succeeding days.
“First Love” starring Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo is already playing in cinemas starting October 17.
On its first day, the film grossed P6,381,514.68. It’s not bad but could’ve done better knowing that Aga and Bea are the lead stars.
The result is currently understandable since Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino’s film is still in theaters.
The production is expecting that the movie will show better results in the next few days, most probably on the coming weekend.
They had to show better results since the money spent on filming 30 days in Vancouver, Canada is no joke.
As for the viewers’ comments who went to watch on opening day, they find the story a bit dragging. They also didn’t say anything interesting or something to look out for that will entice more people to watch.
That’s surprisingly unexpected for a Paul Soriano movie.
Well, it’s still the first day and too early to conclude. If the movie continues to roll on cinemas for at least two weeks, there’s no doubt it can pull off at least P250-million gross earnings.
