Vhong Navarro fueled the dating rumors between Vice Ganda and professional basketball player, Calvin “The Beast” Abueva in a recent episode of It’s Showtime. Mariel Rodriguez, Amy Perez, Anne Curtis, Vice and Vhong were supposed to introduce the segment, Tawag ng Tanghalan.

Vhong, however, deviated from the topic to Vice supporting PBA basketball team, Alaska Aces.
“Bakit ngayon ka lang nag-Alaska?”
Vice chuckled and jokingly tried to slap Vhong who quickly dodged him. The comedian then greeted Calvin’s fans who were present in the show.
“Hala, ‘yung mga fans niya nandito… Tinext niya ako, sabi niya nandito daw kayo! Hi, nasa practice siya. Mga fans ng Phoenix (Fuel Masters). Ay, good luck kasi may laban sila bukas… May laro sila bukas, eh.”
When Vhong asked Vice what team does he play for, the latter evaded the question by jesting:
“Ang baho mo!”

Amid teasing from his fellow ‘It’s Showtime hosts,’ Vice greeted Calvin’s family on-air.
“Hi sa mommy atsaka sa lola ni Calvin nanunuod sila. Hi!”
Another tag?
His co-hosts seemingly noticed something about Calvin’s basketball nickname, The Beast, and the comedian’s screen name, Vice Ganda.

Vice revealed that Calvin told him about the fans present at the show. The comedian showed support by inviting his own fans to watch the basketball player’s game.
“Hindi! Nagtext kasi siya sabi niya nandyan ‘yung supporters ng Phoenix atsaka mga fans ko… ‘Yung mga fans ko naman manunuod sa game mo, sige. Palitan tayo… Siyempre, we support… I support all my friends.”
When told about his new couple name, Vice said:
“CALVICE! Papunta na sa kalbo ‘yun! Bahala kayo diyan!”
It was at this moment that Mariel changed the topic and introduced the next segment, Tawag ng Tanghalan.
