“Kadenang Ginto” hit its all-time high national TV rating last Monday (October 22) as more viewers tuned in to the much-awaited showdown between the characters of Andrea Brillantes and Francine Diaz, who both made their debut in the gripping episode.
The show recorded a national TV rating of 18.2%, or 6.8 points higher compared to its rival program “Ika-5 Utos” that only got 11.4%, according to data from Kantar Media.
Viewers had a preview of the brewing rivalry between Marga (Andrea) and Cassie (Francine) when they had their first encounter during a quiz bee, where the latter was declared the winner.
But things will get even more complicated as Cassie transfers to Marga’s school, which will breed more comparisons between them. This will infuriate Daniela (Dimples Romana), and will force her to clash with Romina (Beauty Gonzales) and Robert (Albert Martinez) to keep her daughter away from their child.
