ABS-CBN signed distribution deals that will make its shows “Magpahanggang Wakas,” “Asintado,” and “The Better Half” available in Southeast Asian countries Vietnam and Myanmar.
Viet Content, a media group into content acquisition and distribution, is bringing the Jericho Rosales-starrer “Magpahanggang Wakas” (“I’ll Never Say Goodbye”) to Vietnamese viewers. In the show, Jericho is reunited with a long-lost love in Arci Muñoz, but they must choose between continuing their love or forgetting it.
Meanwhile, media company S&E Syndication signed to continue airing the recently concluded “Asintado” in Myanmar, which stars Julia Montes, as a young woman searching for her sister while trying to get revenge against the people who destroyed their family.
Canal +, a premium cable channel, will bring “The Better Half” to Myanmar. The show features a love square with Carlo Aquino, Shaina Magdayao, Denise Laurel, and JC de Vera, tainted with obsession and jealousy.
