GMA Network Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable revealed that she and Regine Velasquez already discussed the rumor regarding the singer’s network transfer.
During the press conference for The Clash, a show hosted by Regine, on August 29, Resonable stated, “Nag-usap na kami pero siguro hangga’t walang ina-announce officially, either from the network or Regine, they’re all just hearsay or speculations.
“So yun, as I’ve said, hangga’t walang na-a-announce, nothing is confirmed.”
Regine’s husband Ogie Alcasid is now in ABS-CBN and given one choice project after another.
Regine’s contract with GMA will end soon. The Clash will hold its finals in September.
“We have no plans of ending the show (Sarap Diva) because it’s doing well, it’s earning well, it has good following.
“So, it’s a good platform not only for the host but for our artists so wala naman kaming plans na i-end yung show,” Rasonable added.
Regine has an upcoming US Tour this October so she won’t be appearing in Sarap Diva while on tour. Will she reveal her final decision once she’s back?
Rasonable concluded, “Wala pa namang ina-announce so wala pa akong pwedeng i-announce.”
