Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo recently starred in The Hows of Us where they played Primo and George, a couple living in together. The movie was under Cathy Garcia-Molina‘s direction.
Although the movie had a more mature tone, it surprisingly didn’t have love scenes.
No sex.
Direk Cathy expressed how she wouldn’t want to see Kathryn and Daniel in that situation.
“I’m proud to say that we’ve made a movie on relationships without the sex. I myself would squirm at the idea of KathNiel doing a scene depicting sex. It wasn’t essential or needed in this story.”
She described The Hows of Us as wholesome because she has kids who would watch the movie.
“I have to be responsible. I want them to be able to see all my films.”
KathNiel’s acting capabilities.
Direk Cathy commended Kathryn and Daniel for their improved acting skills.
“This movie will show how good she (Kathryn) really is. I’m also proud to say that I didn’t direct Daniel in this project. I took off the reins from him and just let him go. He has grown so much.”
