Lampara Books‘ epic fantasy series, Moymoy Lulumboy now has its fifth book titled, Moymoy Lulumboy: Ang Lihim ng Libro. The enchanting world of Gabun is back where local mythical creatures like aswang, duwende, manananggal, kapre and tikbalang co-exist with each other, fighting for communal peace.

Moymoy Lulumboy: Ang Lihim ng Libro is about Moymoy’s struggles in coping with the death of his mother, Liliw. He also has a hard time in understanding the legacy as the hero of Gabun. Moymoy has the ability to shape-shift and powers that resemble that of an aswang. He slowly transforms into a character with darkness and aggression in his soul. His kindness and compassion remain throughout the coming-of-age conquest.

Palanca-awardee and best-selling author Segundo Matias Jr. launched the fifth book on September 14, Friday at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. This became one of the highlights of the Manila International Book Festival (MIBF). He collaborated with Jomike Tejido, an illustrator and painter who has an unorthodox style, leading him to have solo exhibitions in several countries.
In recent reports, ABS-CBN acquired Moymoy Lulumboy with plans to develop the book series into a television series, film, digital piece, merchandise or an attraction.
