- President Rodrigo Duterte made another rape joke.
- Agot Isidro slammed him for joking about Davao City’s rape cases.
- She even called him ‘trash.’
Agot Isidro took to Twitter to express her dismay at another one of President Rodrigo Duterte‘s rape jokes. The joke pertained to the high rate of rape cases in Davao City where he used to be a Mayor. She shared a news report from GMA Network where the President made a joke that many beautiful women lead to more rape cases.
Agot’s dismay.
Isidro called the President trash.
“We have basura in our midst.
Unfortunately, we call him President.”
Netizens reply.
“Sorry mga kababayan. Nasayang talaga sng boto ko. Tsk tsk.”
“Mabuhay ka for realizing that.”
“Many even call him Tatay…”
““Huwag po, Tay!” “Tama na po, Tay!” Disgusting old man…”
“Oh my! Walang pag-asa na ang taong eto and it is so unfortunate that he is our president. “
“Kung babae ka at hindi ka nasasaktan sa mga pinagsasabi ng taong ito pres kuno at dutards ka ewan ko na lang sa iyo kung kakampi ka pa sa kanya, ilang beses na ba niyang paulit ulit na binabastos ang pagkababae nati This is too much lahat ng mga babae magiisa alisin sa pwesto”
“What more can he possibly do for his supporters to turn back on him? Grabe na talaga smh”
Another rape joke.
In a speech he made in Davao, President Rodrigo said, “Ingon sila nga daghang rape ang Davao. Basta daghang gwapa, daghang rape gyud na.”
This translates to: “They said there are many rape cases in Davao. As long as there are many beautiful women, there will be more rape cases.”
The President encouraged a more active information drive for women to avoid rape. He, however, did not make any mention about the perpetrator of rape which is a crime — the rapist.
“Pagdating sa rape cases, intensify po natin ang information drive sa mga kababaihan kung papaano makakaiwas na maging biktima ng rape at makipag coordinate din kami sa barangay.”
This translates to: “When it comes to rape cases, we will intensify our information drive among women on how to avoid being a rape victim and we will also coordinate with the village officials.”
