- Maine Mendoza shared why she and Alden have to work on solo projects.
- The Phenomenal Star said that they’re both in the exploration stage of their careers.
- She hopes that GMA will give them a project together soon.
Maine Mendoza has an upcoming sitcom on GMA with Vic Sotto and Wally Bayola titled “Daddy’s Gurl.” Alden Richards, on the other hand, is busy with his on-going series “Victor Magtanggol.”
It has been a while since we saw Maine and Alden worked together and GMA has not released an official explanation as to why.
During the interview in “Daddy’s Gurl” pictorial, Maine had the chance to explain why she prefers taking on solo projects.
“So ayun, parang nasa exploration stage pa rin po ako until now dito sa showbiz,” she said.
She was also asked if GMA has plans for an AlDub project. She replied, “Hopefully naman po, in the future, pero sa ngayon nga po ayun nag-e-explore po muna kami as solo artists.
Maine is grateful for the support she and Alden Richards are getting from AlDub Nation for their individual projects.
Catch Maine Mendoza in “Daddy’s Gurl” soon on GMA-7.
