- Ken Chan’s upcoming series My Special Tatay is his most challenging role yet.
- The actor was touched when an autistic person shared how he wants to be treated despite his condition.
- Hearing the autistic person’s wish, Ken hopes to be the voice for all people with behavioral disorder.
Ken Chan considers his role in My Special Tatay as the most challenging so far.
He will be playing a father who has a mild intellectual disability. He will do his best to raise his son normally.
According to the actor, “Sa lahat ng roles na ginawa ko, ito ang pinakamahirap as of now.
“Nahirapan talaga ako dahil sa kilos, sa pananalita nila, sa the way they think, the way they speak. Lahat talaga.
“Napaka-special nila in a very positive way.”
Ken hopes to be the voice of all autistic people by playing this role. During the press conference of My Special Tatay, the actor wore an autism ribbon.
Witness Ken Chan in his most unique and special role in My Special Tatay set to premiere on September 3 on GMA Afternoon Primetime replacing Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka.
