- Rayver Cruz is now an official Kapuso star.
- He revealed that he has an upcoming show with Kris Bernal and Thea Tolentino.
- He is also hoping to work with his brother Rodjun Cruz.
Rayver Cruz officially signed his Kapuso contract on September 6 and he is more than excited to return to GMA after 18 years.
The former Kapamilya actor said, “Siyempre, nung una nahihiya ako kasi sobrang tagal ko nang hindi nakatuntong sa Kapuso Network.
“Pero now, naging comfortable na ako nung may nakita akong old faces, na kilala ko na dito.
“I’m excited to start working with GMA Network. I’m just happy and blessed na anytime soon mag-start na rin ako mag-work.”
He also revealed that he has an upcoming project with Kris Bernal and Thea Tolentino.
“I think mag-i-start na rin ako soon with Kris Bernal and Thea Tolentino, so I’m really looking forward to it. Maganda kasi ‘yung story, love story siya kakaibang love story. Basta it’s an exciting love story.”
He said that he’s been thinking about returning to GMA since last year. He consulted his family, friends, and manager first before making the final decision.
“Naintindihan naman ng ABS-CBN and thankful ako sa kanila. I am what I am right now because of them and they will always be family to me.
“Pero now, it’s time for me to move here and start new beginnings. I’m really excited to work.”
Rayver Cruz is hoping to receive challenging roles in GMA to prove his worth. He is also looking forward to working with his brother Rodjun Cruz who is also a Kapuso.
“Sana, hopefully, kasi sobrang tagal na nung huli ko siyang nakatrabaho.
“Lagi ko siyang nakikita at nakakasama pero iba pa rin kapag katrabaho mo, e, and kapatid ko siya, so hopefully sana makasama ko rin siya.
“Ang okay kasi sa family ko, hindi nila sinasabi sa akin kung ano ang dapat gawin.Ako talaga, ‘yung mga desisyon ko kinu-consult ko sa kanila, very supportive kasi sila, e.
“Lalo na si Rodjun, sobrang supportive niya na kuya. Ngayon, happy na siya na nandito na ako,” the actor concluded.
