Para Sa Brokenhearted stars Yassi Pressman, Shy Carlos, Louise delos Reyes, Sam Concepcion and Marco Gumabao. They will give life to the characters of Shalee, Jackie, Kath, Dan, Alex and RJ of Marcelo Santos III‘s book of the same name.
During the press conference held on September 18, Tuesday, the young actors and actresses described their characters in the movie.

The young “hugot” novelist already expressed his approval on the actors’ portrayal of their characters. He was also present during the filming. He commended director Digo Ricio on interpreting his book for the big screen.
Yassi as Shalee.
Shalee is a photography enthusiast who suffers from a heart ailment. She has feelings for Alex, her long-time and childhood friend.
Sam as Alex.
Sam’s first character, Alex, is into arts. Everybody else, however, treats him like he’s invisible. Shalee changed his views about life from the attention and affection she constantly gives him.
Shy as Jackie.
Jackie believes in girl power as she was raised by two women, her mother and grandmother. Although this is the case, she falls hard for a smooth-talker, RJ.
Marco as RJ.
RJ is a varsity player with a flirty attitude which are two combinations why girls are attracted to him. He promised Jackie, he will never do anything to hurt her.
Louise as Kath.
Kath is adventurous. She meets a random stranger, Dan, while she is mending her own broken heart.
Sam as Dan.
Sam’s second character, Dan, is a good listener. Although he doesn’t say much, he lends his ears to Kath, listening to her problems.
Para Sa Brokenhearted is coming soon to theaters nationwide on October 3, Wednesday.
