GMA Network may give in to fans clamoring for a musical variety show. In 2013, Sunday All Stars had a hard time competing with ABS-CBN.
The show used to feature Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, Soul Diva Jaya, Soul Princess Jona and other singer-performers.
New musical variety show?
Viewers had been clamoring for a Party Pilipinas or S.O.P comeback. Other fans pointed out that the lack of musical variety shows became the reason for the network transfer of Kapuso singer-performers.
The new show, however, may not be put on Sunday as Sunday PinaSaya is rating well.

Jaya, Ogie Alcasid and Janno Gibbs are only some of the biggest names that transferred from GMA Network to ABS-CBN.

Jaya was introduced as one of the judges in It’s Showtime‘s Tawag ng Tanghalan.
Ogie, on the other hand, was officially launched as one of the celebrity judges for Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids.
Janno recently signed a recording contract under Star Music. Prior to this, he appeared in ABS-CBN’s top primetime series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
