Barbie Imperial stated that she already forgave her ex-boyfriend Paul Salas, even though the actor hasn’t actually apologized to her.
Barbie explained, “Mahirap kasing magpatawad ng isang tao na never na humingi ng sorry. Sa sarili ko na lang, pinatawad ko na lang siya.
“Kasi mas madali din yun para sa akin, para maging mas okay na ako, maka-move on ako, at maging happy ako sa life ko. Tapos na ‘yun kaya, para sa akin, move on na lang.”
Barbie relates her experience with Paul Salas to her father abandoning their family. She remarked that if she can forgive her father, why not other people?
“Parang sa akin, kung iniwan kami ng dad ko at nakaya ko nung lumaki ako, at napatawad ko siya, bakit ang ibang tao hindi ko kakayanin na iwan nila ako at patawarin sila?”
When asked if she’s still willing to fix their broken relationship, she replied, “Ayoko na talaga… career. Ang saya lang kasi mas marami pa lang nagmamahal sa akin.”
