Janine Gutierrez recently said that she’s used to bashers, until the AlDub fans began attacking her personally.
Janine recently deactivated her Twitter account and admitted that part of her reason was the relentless bashing from AlDub fans. The bashing started when she became Alden Richard’s leading lady in “Victor Magtanggol” instead of Maine Mendoza.
Janine is still active on her other social media accounts such as Instagram. Although she still gets bashers from other platforms, most of the bashing is courtesy of Twitter.
There are a number of Alden fans who support their love team, and she is thankful to them.
“Thankful din po ako na marami ang sumusuporta and marami ang excited, lalo na po nung nag-Visayas kami, nag-Cebu and nag-Bacolod kami,” Janine said, referring to the regional shows of the cast of “Victor Magtanggol.”
“Madami po kaming na-meet do’n na nanonood ng ‘Victor Magtanggol,’ so very thankful din po talaga.”
She also admitted that it’s somehow a good thing that bashers exist.
Aside from “Victor Magtanggol”, Janine has an upcoming new project with Enchong Dee. It is a movie titled “Elise” which she considers a milestone being her first lead role in a mainstream movie.
“Kaya nga hirap na hirap akong ipaliwanag yung concept ng movie, kasi very true to life siya, na it’s complicated.
“Merong masaya, merong malungkot, merong nakakatuwa, and parang first time ko lang na gumawa ng movie na ganito,” Janine concluded.
