Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s “The Hows of Us” is arguably the best movie this year in terms of ticket sales.
The movie has surpassed several box-office records including their own.
Recently, KathNiel appeared on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” where the onscreen loveteam was asked if they can imagine working on separate projects.
Kathryn took the liberty to address the question first. She said, “It’s sad. Sad po talaga kasi ilang taon kami magkasama ni DJ.
“Para sa growth naming pareho na ayun dadating ka sa point na kailangan niyo muna maghiwalay para mag-grow lalo ‘tong isa.
“Ayoko lang maging selfish na ‘hindi dapat partner ko lang si DJ’ kasi andaming naghihintay na magandang projects sa kanya.”
She also assured that this separation will only be temporary, “Dadating at dadating na babalik pa rin kami sa isa’t isa. ‘Yun na lang yung iniisip ko.”
Daniel also shared his thoughts on the topic. He stated, “Siyempre it’s gonna be different. Pero, I think we both need this also.
“Maganda siya para sa amin. Wala siyang negative na effect na mangyayari. It’s really normal.”
Kathryn Bernardo already has a solo project in “Three Words to Forever” starring Sharon Cuneta and Richard Gomez.
Daniel Padilla’s solo project is still unannounced but we expect it to unveil soon.
