Many fans wondered why Xian Lim wasn’t in any of the promotional appearances for the movie Miss Granny in ABS-CBN shows on August 15, Wednesday. Only Sarah Geronimo and James Reid were seen in an episode of It’s Showtime.
The pair also appeared as guests in an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice.

When asked about it, Xian is as clueless as everyone else. He took to Twitter to say that he would rather take it in stride.

Netizens look for Xian in promos
One fan expressed how they want to see Xian and Nova Villa in promo tours.
“Hi Xian! Not speaking in behalf of jd fans/james’ fans pero as someone who will really watch, I wanna see you sana and ms nova villa din sa promos/tours. We want your input din kaya kasi trailer alone it looks so good and I know you all did great, di lang si sg and james. ♡”
Xian replied that he is just waiting for an advise.
“I would be more than happy to promote. I’m just waiting for an advise. Maybe the shows do not approve. I really don’t know.”

Another fan shared that they would expect to see the actor during promotional tours.
“Salamat sa gv mong dala. Pero siyempre we want to see you interact with the cast. And since you’re name is on top of the poster din, we expect to see you during the promo rounds.”
Xian replied, unaware of what the problem is.

Xian explains
Xian denied being banned in any ABS-CBN shows or the network itself. He had already visited shows like ASAP and Tonight with Boy Abunda to promote the said movie.
“I got the messages sa IG and Twitter ko, tapos I was wondering bakit ang dami kong messages. A couple were saying na parang they’re wondering, mostly supporters ni Sarah Geronimo and supporters din ni James Reid. They’re wondering, asan daw ako, I’m also part of Miss Granny. Some are worried and some are mad. Bakit ko raw iniwanan yung dalawa sa ere? I think it was just right for me to reply na I didn’t know. I mean, in respect sa mga nagtatanong, they do deserve an aswer to it. Sabi ko, ‘I didn’t know about the guesting. I didn’t know any of that. Thank you for tagging me, pero ‘yun, hindi ko po alam.’ Wala naman po siguro problema sa network. I mean, nakapag-promote naman ako sa ASAP. Just last night, we were at Tonight with Boy Abunda, so I don’t know. But for me, I just explained sa mga itinatanong nila. I was also wondering, kami naghihintay lang kami to be advised.”
