Victor Magtanggol aired its pilot episode on July 30, Monday. The series replaced The Cure which failed to topple the top-rating Kapamilya crime-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
The Kapuso fantasy series, has yet to catch up with the Coco Martin-starrer in terms of daily ratings.

Victor Magtanggol‘s pilot episode got only half the ratings of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
According to Kantar Media, Kapamilya network’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned 42.4% and ranked as the most-watched show on the date the Kapuso fantasy series had its pilot; the Kapuso fantaserye Victor Magtanggol only garnered 20.0%.

Still according to Kantar Media, the August 3 episode of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned 41.3% while Victor Magtanggol lost to the former and only garnered 18.2%.
