Vice Ganda recently referenced Mocha Uson and Drew Olivar‘s ‘pepe-dede-ralismo’ campaign in an episode of It’s Showtime on August 7, Tuesday. The comedian was paired with Jackque Gonzaga, his so-called partner to exchange jokes during the segment, Purok Katatawanan segment.
Pederalismo (Federalism).
Vice teased that his joke would be better than Jackque’s. His quip on Federalism sent his audience and his co-hosts into laughter.
“Ito ang magbabago ng buhay ng lahat ng Pilipino. Ito ang mag-e-explain sa inyo kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng salitang pederalismo.”
Then, Vice danced and chanting “pederalismo.”
No “pepe-dede-ralismo”
In the viral clip, Drew was touching his crotch and chest as he chants, “pepe-dede-ralismo” referring to female private parts. Vice didn’t use Drew’s word play and the comedian didn’t do the same on live television. His co-host, Jugs Jugueta, told Vice not to do the chant which could be heard in the background.
“Huwag mo kantahin!”
