Vhong also avoided giving a firm answer if he had already proposed to his non-showbiz ladylove.

During the entertainment press conference of his latest movie, Unli Life, Vhong just asked reporters to read his smile.
“Basahin n’yo na lang ang ngiti ko. Yung date, hindi pupuwede nating sabihin.”
Vhong also skirted the issue of whether he has already popped the question or not.
“Hindi ko pa rin pwedeng sabihin. Basta sinabi ko naman, siya na yung forever ko, e. Kumbaga wala nang iba. Kumbaga bumubwelo na lang ako kung kelan.”
Private wedding
Vhong joked that he and Tanya wanted to have a private wedding. He pointed out that Tanya would want an intimate ceremony with only him and a priest.
“Mas tipid daw yun. Kasi yung girlfriend ko kasi, hindi naman kasi siya showbiz, e. So hindi siya yung maraming tao. Gusto niya yung intimate. Gusto niya tatlo lang kami nung pari.”
Vhong explained why he can’t disclose marriage plans yet.
“Siyempre nire-respect ko yung partner ko, e. Hindi naman pwedeng ako lang ‘to, e. Dalawa na kami dito. Kung ano ang parehas na gusto namin dapat.”
Although he didn’t disclose any details, Vhong says he is happy with Tanya.
“Basta kung ano man, kung saan pupunta ito, masaya ako na siya ang kasama ko until now.”
