FIFA World Cup fever is not yet over as ABS-CBN S+A and LIGA turn the spotlight to the world’s best young female football teams with the airing of the Semifinals and Final matches of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup France 2018, LIVE tonight (August 20), Tuesday (August 21), and August 25.
Local football fans will be able to watch not one, but two Semifinal matches on S+A and LIGA tonight (August 20), starting with the first match at 10 pm followed by the second match of the round early Tuesday (August 21) at 1:30 am. Meanwhile, the Final of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup will air LIVE from the Stade de la Rabine in Vannes, France on S+A and LIGA on August 25 at 1:25 am. Watch the games in high-definition on cable on S+A HD or LIGA HD.
Defending champion the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea remain in contention as the quarterfinal stage of the prestigious biennial event continues in France, a country still high from the World Cup victory of its national team over Croatia last month. Other teams that made it to the knockout stage are France, Spain, Nigeria, England, Japan, Netherlands, and Germany.
S+A and LIGA, sports channels of ABS-CBN Sports, were also the country’s official broadcasters of the recent the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.
