Global smartphone innovator OPPO revealed on Wednesday, August 15, its latest product in the Philippines—the OPPO F9 at Shangri-la at the Fort.
During the grand launch, F9 model revealed its breakthroughs in fast-charging, the VOOC Flash Charge Technology.
This technology is exclusively developed by OPPO for the OPPO F9. Its charging speed is up to four times faster than the regular brick charger, and eight times as faster than charging your phone on your computer’s UBS port. This means that a quick five-minute charge is enough for you to have two hours of talk time.
VOOC also has an intelligent five-layer protection system where there is a voltage tester built into the adapter. Its identification is built into the adapter and into the phone; the voltage test is built into phone, and a fuse built into phone where in case of a power surge will protect the gadget and its contents.
Unlike other devices with fast-charging capability, with VOOC, the phone won’t heat up and can still use it while charging.
OPPO F9 offers a unique and attractive design that appeals greatly to the younger generation.
It has three stunning gradient color combinations–Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple for Php 17,990 (6GB RAM). When tilting the phone it will show you the refined gradient partnered up with flower petal pattern in the phone’s body which will surely be eye-grabbing. One notable design upgrade in the F9 is the Waterdrop screen inspired by a water droplet; that allows one to have a better viewing experience with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8%.
OPPO F9 also has an impressive 6.3-inch bezel-less LCD screen that features a resolution of 2340×1080 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. As the selfie expert OPPO, it expands its leadership to mobile photography. It is the first in the F series device to have an AI-enhanced dual rear cameras where two cameras work together to create depth of field and achieve the bokeh effect.
Young celebrity loveteam–Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto were presented as the new OPPO’s endorsers. Influencers like Robi Domingo, Glaiza De Castro, Sanya Lopez and Gretchen Ho were also launch.
