Vice Ganda performed in It’s Showtime to officially open the return of Miss Q and A. The said segment goes Inter-talak-tic and has leveled up mechanics. Miss Q and A winner will gain a new crown, brand-new car, one million pesos and another surprise prize reserved for the grand finals.
“Basta, sa grand finals ia-announce. Malala! Heto talaga ‘yung todo na makakapagbago ng pamilya… Kasi ‘yun naman ang hangad ng lahat.”
Special Award
Best of Chukchak of the Day: a special award given to the best contestant to introduce themselves wins Php 5,000.
New categories
“Ibi-Gay Mo Na”
In this category, the first candidate to press the buzzer needs to give a “tumpak” or correct answer to the question the hosts asked. The contestant to her left will continue to answer until it circles around.
When a candidate, however, gives a wrong answer, she will be removed or “ligwak” from the bracket. The last candidate who answers with a correct answer will earn a point and a place for the next round.
“Beklaban”
This is a previous category called “Wit Lang” reinvented. The candidates can now read the question ahead of their opponent. The participants also need to chant: “Bekla, bekla, aawra ka ba…Oo, oo, aawra ako.” After they chant, the two contenders have to do their best pose or “awra.”
Online submissions.
If you want to be a contestant in Miss Q and A, you can submit your entries online. The participant should take a video of themselves in a gown introducing themselves in a grand manner. They are also expected to answer the question:
“Bakit ikaw ang karapat-dapat na tanghaling susunod na Miss Q and A?”
