- Jericho Rosales is happy for Kristine Hermosa’s showbiz comeback.
- The actor is enthusiastic to work with Kristine again.
- Jericho has an upcoming series Halik which replaces Since I Found You in ABS-CBN.
Kristine Hermosa recently returned to acting after taking some time off. She is in the cast of Bagani where she plays an ambiguous character who can be either an ally or a foe.
Jericho Rosales, Kristine’s former on-screen partner, is happy to see her acting again.
“Masaya. Kasi alam ko, ayaw na niyang umarte, eh, di ba? So, I think, she’s having fun now. Alam ko si Kristine very focused yan sa family niya and that’s a great thing,” he shared.
When asked if he’s willing to work with Kristine again, the actor replied without second thoughts, “Bakit hindi? Game!
“Okey lang naman sa akin. Kung gusto n’yo mag-guest ako sa Bagani, eh.”
Jericho added, “Alam mo, masaya na si Kristine do’n. Huwag na natin siyang guluhin. Pero pag tinawag nila ako, bakit hindi?”
But a Kristine-Jericho reunion project seems a far-fetched idea for now.
Jericho Rosales will be seen again on TV in his new series Halik, also on ABS-CBN, which he considers a ground-breaking project.
“In a way, it’s ground breaking because it’s the perspective naman ng lalaki. Parang bigla naman siyang nasa center. So, slowly we are introducing… binabale natin yung formula, parang ganun.
“I’m not a fan of this ha, na we always have to please everyone, hindi ako ganun. I know, we cannot please everybody, but gusto ko ng growth, parang ganun, and the team knows that.
“Lagi kong sinasabi sa kanila, ‘Baliin natin ito, gawin nating ganito.’ O kaya sa sarili ko, ‘ibahin natin yung atake nito.’ But there’s a place for it, so I am happy na may TV pa at may teleserye pa because may feeling ako na someday soon, it’s going to phase out,” Jericho explained lengthily.
Halik will replace Piolo Pascual’s Since I Found You.
Joining Jericho Rosales in Halik are Sam Milby, Yen Santos and Yam Concepcion with supporting characters to be played by Amy Austria as Echo’s mom, Hero Angeles, Christian Bables, Precious Lara Quigaman, Lotlot de Leon, Romnick Sarmenta, Cris Villanueva, Alan Paule, Jane de Leon and Almira Muhlach.
