Jairus Aquino expressed his gratitude to his non-showbiz girlfriend Nichole Ramos on his Instagram stories for supporting his upcoming movie Petmalu.
According to Push.ABS-CBN, the young actor received an unexpected message from a basher telling him that the movie will be a flop.
Defending himself and the film, he replied, “Ang importante napakita namin sa pelikula ‘yung talento na meron kami—na baka wala ka, at ang trabaho namin na pinaghirapan namin.”
Petmalu cast members include some of the popular young actors today such as Marlo Mortel, Diego Loyzaga, Vivoree Esclito, Karen Reyes, Charles Kieron, Vitto Marquez, Brian Gazmen, together with Yayo Aguila, William Martinez, Sue Prado, Richard Quan, Mitoy Yonting, Marissa Sanchez, Ronnie Liang, Dennis Padilla, Irma Adlawan, and Arlene Muhlach.
The movie is directed by Joven Tan and will be available in cinemas starting September 5.
