- Christian Bautista renewed his contract with GMA Network on August 7.
- He has one on-going show in the network and two upcoming shows this year.
- He revealed he was offered to join an Indonesian reality show but turned it down.
Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista has two more Kapuso projects awaiting him this year.
The singer-actor is currently a judge in the singing search The Clash. He will also be a part of the huge cast of Pamilya Roces and another show called Three Stars, One Heart.
On top of these projects, Christian is busy preparing for his wedding to his non-showbiz girlfriend Kat Ramnani.
In the last few years, Christian Bautista has become well known in neighboring Asian countries like Indonesia.
In fact, Christian was invited to be a part of a reality show in Indonesia but he had to turn it down due to his full-packed schedule in the Philippines.
“I’m grateful for the work I have here, and ganun eh no, kung sino mauna talaga sometimes,” he said during his contract signing with GMA on August 7.
“Siyempre you give your best effort sa kung sino ‘yung na-promise mo, you have to honor that.
“And hopefully, other opportunities lalabas din later on. Lagi naming sinasabi, ‘puwede ba next year kami sumali?’ Para magawa din namin kahit papano,” he added.
Christian is happy for the positive feedback to The Clash. “I’m glad that there is a conversation going on, kasi ‘yun ang kailangan. It means na sinusundan nila.
“And mas nakukuha namin ang reactions na ‘yun because it’s also live on YouTube, on FB, kaya natutuwa kami sa success ng show.
“Kakaiba siya eh, tanggal kung tanggal, pasok kung pasok. Mas excited pa ako sa next taping days namin kasi paliit na nang paliit. Hinahanap na namin ‘yung finals.
“The hardest part is kung meron kang dalawa na magaling pareho. Ang hirap-hirap pumili.
“So other factors kami na kailangan i-decide among the judges. Sometimes nananalo ‘yung like a percent, 0.1 ganun.
“And we encourage ‘yung mga natatanggal na don’t stop. Like me, I didn’t win the contest pero nagpatuloy pa rin. Find other avenues to succeed,” he concluded.
