Cherry Pie Picache is part of Vic Sotto and Coco Martin’s MMFF 2018 entry, Jack Em Poy: The Pulis Incredibles.
Maine Mendoza also confirmed that she accepted Coco’s offer to be his leading lady. Most of the cast members in the movie will be working for the first time together.
Cherry Pie had already worked with Coco and Vic before, but it’s her first time to work with Maine. The veteran actress shared her first impression of the Dubsmash Queen.
“With Maine, actually, first time ko siyang nakilala. Very quiet. Tahimik. So, hindi mo maisip na siya pala yung pinapanood.
“I haven’t really had a chance to get to talk to her, pero with the little time that we had, during the storycon, it was very pleasant.
“She was a very pleasant lady,” said the award-winning actress.
Cherry Pie Picache also shared how she feels competing with Vice Ganda’s Fantastica: The Princess, The Prince and The Perya at the MMFF 2018. She said, “I’m sure it’s all positive, constructive competition.
“It’s a very good time of the year, Metro Manila Film Fest, it’s a very good opportunity to show all the Filipino films.
“So, we all pray that they all make it good.
“Naniniwala ako na ang intensiyon lang ng bawat pelikula sa Metro Manila Film Fest, of course, bukod sa kumita, is mapasaya lang talaga ang mga tao.”
