Direk Antoinette Jadaone recently directed James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s Never Not Love You. In a blog post in January, Direk Antoinette wrote how she suddenly received a confirmation that the shooting would be packed up for a movie whose title she did not mention.
Netizens were quick to speculate that Jadaone was referring to the aforementioned JaDine movie.
Willing to work with JaDine again?
According to the box-office director, she is willing to work with James and Nadine again. Direk Antoinette, however, noted that it still depends on the story and if they fit the material.
“If the story is right, pwede.”

On January 15, Antoinette published an entry on her blog titled “anti-climactic”:
“Filming for #foolishmovie is becoming erratic. Sayang, andun na ang momentum eh. More and more shooting days cancelled – some reasons more heartbreaking than others, so heartbreaking they make me cry. Or maybe I am just being overly dramatic, or that’s just really how I value pelikula.”
The director proceeded to write that she is worried.
“I’m just worried. I hope I sustain my excitement for as long as I can. I know myself too well – I work better when I am excited, when I am inspired. Lord, grant me patience. I pray for this movie. I pray for myself too. Take it easy, teh.”
All this is now water under the bridge. Never Not Love You was eventually shown to enthusiastic response from fans and critics alike.
