- GMA Network revealed “Victor Magtanggol” antagonists.
- John Estrada plays the God of Deception Loki.
- Pancho Magno will be Thor’s son and God of Battle Modi.
“Victor Magtanggol” will be aired soon and the story is based in Norse Mythology.
Recently, GMA was questioned if the new series is just a copycat of Hollywood movie “MARVEL’s Thor”. However, the production explained that it is not based on the said Hollywood film but on Norse mythology.
This statement led to more confusion since “MARVEL’s Thor” is also based on Norse Mythology.
The story is said to start after the great war “Ragnarok” occurred.
“Sa kaguluhan na ‘yun, naiwan ‘yung martilyo ni Thor at doon magsisimula ang Victor Magtanggol,” creator Jules Katanyag explained. “Magpi-pick up siya thousands of years after noong namatay ‘yung mga Norse gods.”
She also added that the remnants and the surviving gods and goddesses, including Andrea Torres, will be Victor Magtanggol’s friend or foe.
The God of Deception Loki will be played by John Estrada. The actor said, “Siya ‘yung diyos ng manlilinlang. Deception ‘di ba? Doon magaling si Loki.”
Pancho Magno will also play as another antagonist who wants to claim Thor’s hammer. He will be the Norse God of Battle and one of Thor’s sons Modi. “Parang naiinggit ako. Bakit siya napunta sa isang mortal?” Pancho described his role.
Alden Richards plays the lead role “Victor Magtanggol”, the mortal that found Thor’s hammer.
