Acting jobs
Ameera rose to fame when she started to cosplay as the Pinay Wonder Woman.
“Nag-cosplay muna ako at doon ako nakilala.”
Ameera had acting jobs before: Super Ma’am, Mulawin vs. Ravena, Magpakailanman and now Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka. She also loved doing action scenes.
“Masayang mapunta sa action scenes. Na-try ko na sa Super Ma’am at na-enjoy ko ‘yun kalaban ang Snake Sisters.”
Her opinion on Liza as Darna
Ameera shared her opinion on Liza starring as the new Darna.
“Magiging normal na lang ang sagot ko. Hangga’t kilala niya si Darna at kaya niyang i-portray at nagwo-work hard talaga para mai-portray ‘yun kahit sino naman po basta madadala at mabibigyan niya ng justice. Okay po ‘yun.”
Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka
Ameera currently stars in GMA Network’s Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka as a friend of Jackie Rice, a kontrabida. This advocaserye stars Yasmien Kurdi, Mike Tan and Martin del Rosario among others. Ameera character is one of the people who torments Yasmien’s character.
“Hindi ako masyadong mapang-api kasi may guilt na kaunti. Kumbaga, hindi full ang pagkainis kay Thea.”
Ameera also admitted that she receives hate comment in social media because of her role. She also added that she would receive criticisms properly to improve her acting.
“Pero ok lang po na bina-bash ako wag lang po ‘yung below the belt. Usually po ang natatanggap kong puna ay ‘yung tungkol sa boses ko o may advise sila na parang reklamo. Gusto ko naman na makarating sa akin para ma-improve ko… Yang mga ganyang haters is okey lang naman po, kasi ibig sabihin effective ang work ko.”
Ameera is currently fifteen years old and will celebrate her sixteenth birthday with a feeding program in a barangay in Tondo, Manila. Ameera’s career is now being managed by GMA Artist Center.
