Oppo recently unveiled flagship “Find X” phone with sliding camera in Paris, France on June 20, Wednesday. The said phone also solved the “notch” problem that other smartphone brands had tried to remove bezels from their screens. A bezel is the area of a display that surrounds the screen. A monitor has an inch bezel while the screen should be surrounded by an inch of plastic or metal.
The Oppo Find X features an edge-to-edge display and a motorized pop-up camera that slides out. Tapping the Oppo Find X’s camera app will cause the camera tray to pop-up. This also has a 25-megapixel selfie camera and a dual 16MP and 20MP rear camera.
Since the Oppo Find X had ditched the notch, it has achieved the highest screen-to-body ratio of any phone today. Eason de Guzman, public relations manager of Oppo Philippines, shared, “It’s a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.”
The Oppo Find X will go on sale in Europe in August for 999 euros., and will soon hit North America.
