Mariel de Leon, the former representative to the Miss International 2017 reminisced the days when she last competed in Tokyo, Japan. She expressed her regret during the time she was about to and was in the competition.
The beauty queen retweeted a post from @Motivated Living, “Stop worrying about pleasing others so much, do more of what makes you happy.”
She made a follow tweet as her own reflection while she was about to compete in the 57th edition of the Tokyo-based beauty pageant.
“Biggest regret during the MI: Pleasing other people and their wishes or ‘suggestions’ instead of my own. I felt pressured to not follow my own heart and what I wanted to do.
“Do what you know would make you happy. Do what you feel is right for yourself. Live for you!”
The said tweets marked her return on social media. She deactivated her account earlier this year for unknown reasons.
Also, the former beauty queen also revealed via Instagram that she has an upcoming project which looks like a horror flick. She is seen standing with two dolls and bore the caption of, “family. #comingsoon”.
