Metro Manila Film Festival recently went live on Facebook. They announced official entries for Metro Manila Film Festival 2018. The Screening Committee also chose four scripts that can be an official entry for the festival. After the announcement, this entries can start shooting.
Marian Rivera had an entry which the committee choose as an entry. Her manager, Rams David, said that the movie will still roll out even if it will not be chosen to be part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2018. Marian will still be back on the big screen this November 2018. The actress also mentioned that it will be a horror movie under the direction of Mike Tuviera.
On the other hand, rumors also suggested that a collaboration with Charo Santos and Bea Alonzo had also been rejected for the annual festival.
However, this has yet to be confirmed nor denied. The official MMFF 2018 entries include:
Fantastica: The Princess, The Prince, and the Perya starring Vice Ganda, Maris Racal, Loisa Andalio and Maymay Entrata.
Popoy En Jack: The Puliscredibles starring Vic Sotto and Coco Martin.
Girl in the Orange Dress starring Kim Chiu, Jessy Mendiola, and Jericho Rosales among others.
Aurora starring Anne Curtis.
