Ever since news broke out about Kylie Padilla having a television comeback, fans had clamored for her and Ruru Madrid to get their love team back together.
Fortunately, GMA Network and director Mark Reyes heard the fans’ wishes and got #KyRu for Kapuso epidemic series The Cure. Kylie portrays Lt. Adira Aguilar, a special forces agent.
Fans had missed the duo’s dynamic as Amihan and Ybrahim in Encantadia. In the said fantaserye, the production killed off Amihan due to Kylie’s unexpected pregnancy with Alas, her and Aljur Abrenica’s first-born.
Direk Mark also revealed that a lot of fans had requested for #KyRu to be back.
On Friday, The Cure released a teaser where Kylie and Ruru stood face-to-face. Ruru will also play a sniper under the special forces agent, Xavier.
