After numerous extensions, Kambal Karibal will end soon. Bianca Umali had once revealed that the said show used to be a filler show for The Cure. Bianca Umali also didn’t expect another extension in June. Alfred Vargas also thought that Kambal Karibal was going to end in April 2018.

Bianca had once revealed that her ongoing series was only a filler to The Cure. At the start, they only had three months worth of script. Bianca also shared that she didn’t expect another extension in June.
“Hindi po namin ini-expect na tatagal kami sa ere. Nagsimula kasi kami bilang filler show kasi hindi pa ready noon yung teleserye na The Cure. Kumbaga po, hanggang three months lang kami talaga. Pero noong ma-extend kami hanggang April, natuwa kami kasi may trabaho pa kami. Tapos, na-extend ulit kami hanggang June naman po. Kaya happy kaming lahat kasi ang ganda po ng ratings namin.”

While expressing his gratitude for an extended role, Alfred Vargas also revealed that Kambal Karibal was supposed to end in February or April in 2018.
“Kasi ang kontrata namin talaga noong una sa show ay hanggang February lang… Noong ma-extend kami hanggang April, akala ko matatapos na doon…”
Hitting the Ratings Right.
Kambal Karibal also ranked in NUTAM People Ratings Top 20 Shows. The said show which aired on weekdays has 11.0% ratings and ranked eighth in the said list.
According to Kantar Media, fantasy series Bagani earned 32.4% while supernatural-drama Kambal Karibal 17.2% last July 3, Tuesday. On the other hand, NUTAM People Ratings says, Bagani earned 14.9% while supernatural-drama Kambal Karibal 10.4% on the same day.
