Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto currently star in I Love You Hater with Queen of All Media Kris Aquino. During a promotion for the movie, Joshua and Julia set to star in an upcoming teleserye with a working title, Ngayon at Kailanman.
They also revealed their future and possible roles in the said teleserye.
New teleserye
Julia also noted that the story of their first lead teleserye together will be a forbidden love.
“Yung gagawin po namin is a classic love story. Langit lupa, forbidden love, parang Romeo-Juliet type. Very challenging yung role, talagang iba.”
Joshua sees it as a challenging role. He also felt anxious about the public’s reaction to their new roles.
“Siya mahirap siya, ako mayaman parang nagkapalit talaga kami ng mundo sa set namin. Hirap na hirap talaga kami. Ako nararamdaman ko sa soap namin kinakabahan ako kasi di pa alam magiging reaction ng mga tao sa bago naming characters.”
Working with Kris Aquino
The love team expressed their happiness in working with Queen of All Media Kris Aquino. Joshua feels blessed on working with Kris.
“Blessed po siyempre kasi ano na yun mga stars na yan dati, mga veterans na yan. Bihira na sila gumawa ng pelikula kapag napapasabak kami sa ganyan—Kris Aquino ba naman—sobrang blessed kami.”
Joshua revealed that Kris would always advise them before interviews and press conferences.
“Palagi siya nag-aadvise sa interviews ko. Ang sabi niya less talk less mistake sabi niya.”
Julia also disclosed that Kris had told her to take care of herself.
“Favorite ko is yung don’t forget about your health lalo na ako workaholic ako. Yung after mapuyat at lahat lahat. Kapag nakakumpleto ng eight hours [ng tulog] gusto ko trabaho na agad.”
