Jean Garcia and Tonton Gutierrez are reunited for a televisions series after 18 years via Kapuso teleserye Ika-5 Utos: Huwag Kang Papatay. They used to be paired in the highly successful Kapamilya series Pangako Sa’Yo in 2000.
On her Instagram posts, Jean reminisced her Pangako Sa’Yo days that showed Gutierrez as her former TV series partner and captioned the photo as “Ang aking Eduardo noon ay aking Emil naman ngayon…”
Both Garcia and Gutierrez portrayed Claudia and Eduardo Buenavista in Pangako Sa’Yo. The said series also starred Jericho Rosales, Kristine Hermosa, and Eula Valdes.
In Ika-5 Utos: Wag Kang Papatay, they will play the roles of Eloisa and Emil.
Prior to a photo shoot, Jean and Tonton had already started taping for their upcoming Kapuso series. Gelli de Belen, Valerie Concepcion, Jeric Gonzales, Inah De Belen, and Jake Vargas are also in the TV drama.
