Iza Calzado currently snatched a spot in Cinemalaya 2018 for her movie “Distance” where she plays the lead role.
She earlier admitted that she was able to complete the film due to her projects with ABS-CBN being delayed. Now that it’s done, she’s back on the roll for her projects that took a back seat and with her upcoming wedding preps.
In an interview with Umaganda Kay Ganda, she jokingly said, “Pwede ko sabihin na may wedding. As of today, suot ko pa yung singsing. May magaganap na wedding some time this year.”
Iza Calzado will be wed with her British fiancé Ben Wintle.
She admitted that preparing for her wedding is very stressful including the sudden change of venue due to the unprecedented number of visitors attending.
“Kakaloka!” she said, “It’s so hard. Because I think it’s more like you can’t invite everybody dun sa first letter only because of the location that does not permit for more guests to be able to be invited. So, we might probably have to do a Manila wedding.”
Aside from being busy for her personal life, taping for her upcoming primetime series is already underway. The actress said that she can’t reveal the title yet, but she will be working with Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia.
