1. Wings of Love
Turkish novela, Wings of Love already started to air on July 2, Monday at 9:20AM. The story rotates around a single mother Leyla who dreams of giving his child a better life. And because of financial difficulties, her father decided to arrange her marriage to a rich businessman.
Apparently, on the day of the wedding, Leyla discovered the dark secrets of her groom-to-be. She found out that the man is part of a big drug cartel. Out of fear, Leyla runs away and that will lead her in meeting Albert – a chef in one of Leyla’s groom-to-be front restaurants.
2. The Clash
Regine Velasquez will host a reality singing competition, The Clash. It will show every weekend and will start on July 7, Saturday. Regine had traveled around the Philippines to find aspiring singers deserving of a singing career. The audition was open to Filipino male and female amateur and professional singers aged 16 years old and above.
3. Pacquiao vs. Matthysse
Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao will have a comeback in the boxing ring. He will go on a fight with Lucas Matthysse on July 15, Sunday (July 14, Saturday in the United States). Golden Boy Promotions president Eric Gomez that the money due in an escrow account to be paid after the fight had finally come through in full.
“The fight’s a go. There were some bumps in the road but everything is now in order and we’re excited. It’s a great opportunity for Lucas… This is his dream fight. It’s the fight he’s been talking about for five years now. Anytime you can fight a legend like Manny Pacquiao it’s a win.”
4. Kapag Nahati Ang Puso
Formerly known as Karibal Ko Ang Aking Ina will start on July 16, Monday. This will star Bea Binene, Benjamin Alves, and Sunshine Cruz. Bea and Benjamin’s character also looked like they were romantically involved with each other. However, Sunshine’s character seemed to want Benjamin to herself. The said series will also star Bing Loyzaga, David Licauco, and Zoren Legazpi.
5. Princess Hours
Thai drama series, Princess Hours, will start to air on July 18, Wednesday. The plot takes place in Bhutin, a fictitious country. A promise between both of their families Crown Prince In and Kaning got married. However, Prince In had a close friend, Minnie. He also asked for her hand in marriage but she rejected him. Minnie regretted doing so and now wants the prince back. As Prince In and Kaning spend time together, they begin to develop feelings for each other.
6. SONA 2018
GMA News will feature President Rodrigo Duterte’s third The State of the Nation Address (SONA). This will allow the President to deliver his message to the Filipino people “straight from the heart.” The President is also known for not using his prepares speeches. Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said that this will allow the President to have “more latitude” to say whatever he wants. The President will deliver his third SONA on July 23.
7. Ika-5 Utos: Huwang Kang Papatay
The Ika-5 Na Utos: Huwang Kang Papatay series story conference was already held last May 8, 2018. It shows a star-studded cast. The famous Kambal Karibal loveteam, Inah de Belen, and Jake Vargas, will play a special role on this series.
8. Victor Magtanggol
Alden Richards will soon star in a GMA Network series, Victor Magtanggol, a family-adventure-fantasy drama. His character as Victor Magtanggol has been compared to the fictional and mythological character, Thor. Alden revealed his superhero costume in an exclusive interview with 24 Oras. He showed off his Filipino-made superhero costume that he would use in the said series. He also shared his excitement and revealed how comfortable in wearing the costume.
