- Gabby hopes that they can do a project like “Cebu” or “Bisperas ng Kasaysayan” movies that features all the Eigenmann family.
Andi Eigenmann is having doubts with her showbiz career and admits on considering quitting and live peacefully in her new house in Baler, Aurora.
Gabby Eigenmann, Andi’s brother, said that he’s been trying to convince Andi to become a Kapuso star. Not for the reason that he’ll have his eyes on her, but for her to work.
“Ang sa akin lang, I want her to work. For me, hindi ko puwedeng akuin na nami-miss ng mga tao si Andi Eigenmann sa industriya,” he explained.
The actor said that he’ll miss seeing Andi no longer acting. “She loves acting e,” Gabby said. “Pero now that her passion is surfing, being on an island, mermaid nga kasi siya in real life.”
Gabby is only concerned about his sister and her niece. He said that Andi’s recent house acquisition in Baler was intended for an Airbnb business.
Andi admits that she misses acting. She still has a contract under VIVA and also received several offers from GMA Network.
Some Eigenmann’s are now on GMA, some are freelancers, while Andi preferred to stay on ABS-CBN.
“What could have been? What if nandito tayong lahat, magkaroon ng creative mind ang GMA. It’s not far from “Cebu” or “Bisperas ng Kasaysayan” na lahat ng Eigenmann nandoon.
“It could be a movie, it could be a soap,” he said.
“Cebu” in 1992 and “Bisperas ng Kasaysayan” in 1994 are mini-series on RPN-9 that features almost all the Eigenmann family.
In the end, Gabby said that it’s Andi’s call whether she will continue acting or live peacefully as an island girl.
