- Judy Ann Santos-starrer series titled Starla is not going to replace Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
- Biboy Arboleda via a direct message to LionHearTV.net’s IG account denied such.
- He also further revealed that Coco and the writers still enjoy the creative process behind the series.
Based on rumoured plans of a Judy Ann Santos-starrer series titled Starla to replace Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano; and the latter top-rating show to bow down soon, the talent manager of both Kapamilya stars denied such.
Biboy Arboleda via a direct message to LionHearTV.net’s IG account said: “FPJAP doesn’t have a scheduled ENDING. ABS-CBN management has the sole right to Choose and Decide and Announce if ever FPJAP will end.”
He further disputed the speculations that there is no truth that the creative team behind FPJAP is having a hard time in churning out stories for the said series that has reigned for almost three years now. It premiered in September 2015.
“On the contrary, Coco and the writers are enjoying the creative process and the collaboration with the cast and production teams… new stories and characters are coming.”
In a separate article from an online publication, it was hinted that Starla will take over the soon-to-be-vacated timeslot of Coco’s soap; but Biboy, the manager of both Santos and Martin clarified that, “Juday has commenced taping her new serye ‘Starla’, and how can that replace ‘FPJAP’ when Juday has taped for 2 Days pa lang ? This is not FAIR to Coco and to Team FPJAP and team ABS-CBN and Dreamscape. And this is UNFAIR to Judy Ann Santos, too.”
Another item that Arboleda clarified is the possibility of having FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (which is another film that the late Fernando Poe Jr. did with the Diamond Star—Maricel Soriano in 1986.
“And Fake News again ang rumored ‘Batang Quiapo’ with Maricel Soriano. As in NOT TRUE!”
