Former singer-actress Carol Banawa is now based in the United States as a licensed practical nurse. She recently revealed that she had an offer to star in a musical soap opera on the Philippines.
Declining offer
In an Instagram post, Carol wrote that she had to decline to pursue her nursing career. She also expressed her gratitude in remembering her. Carol recently graduated with Latin honors, summa cum laude, at a Nursing School in the United States with an Associates Degree in Nursing.
“Just got offered to do another musical soap. Honored, flattered and grateful to still be considered. However, had to respectfully decline, need to pursue my nursing career. Maybe in God’s time, the right project will come along. But for now, thank you, for still remembering me. You know who you are. #grateful #kilig”
Past projects
Carol used to be part of ABS-CBN’s group of singers and actresses. She also used to be part of the movie, Tanging Yaman in 2000 and the teleserye, Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan in 2001. She got her big break when she played the lead role in Bituin in 2002.
