Past anniversaries
In AlDub’s first anniversary, they got their own customized emoji on Twitter. This became a first for any Southeast Asian show or love team. The new emoji also appeared when you tweet the hashtag #Aldub1stAnniversary.
This showed an emoji of a red heart enclosed in a pair of hands curved together to form a heart shape. This became Alden and Maine’s favorite pose both on split screen and on live television.

In their second anniversary, Alden and Maine starred in a movie, Imagine You & Me. The movie was under Mike Tuviera’s direction with APT Entertainment.

Their fans, the AlDub Nation, waited for a follow-up movie. They also starred in a Kapuso drama series, Destined to be Yours, in the same year.
Separated?
Alden remains under the management of GMA Artists Center, meanwhile, Maine is with Triple A Talent Management. They are also now heading on separate projects.
Through the years, Alden and Maine would be in television commercials together. However, they now have their own endorsements without each other.

Maine also now has a signed contract with Universal Records for her first and debut album. On the other hand, Alden had three top-selling albums under GMA Records: Alden Richards in 2013, Wish I May in 2015 and Say It Again in 2016.

Alden and Maine now compete as recording artists.
