Alden Richards enjoys the collaborative environment while doing his latest Kapuso offering, the epicserye Victor Magtanggol. The actor was given the chance to share his suggestions to the production team.

Very hands-on
With Victor Magtanggol, Alden admits to having been very hands-on, totally involved in making sure that the over-all look of the show is nothing short of spectacular.
“Talagang very hands-on ako dito sa Victor Magtanggol. Nakikinig [sila] sa mga suggestions ko bilang gamer ako, so medyo may konting background ako when it comes to costumes, when it comes to special effects, when it comes to layouts ng mga CGI (computer-generated imagery) monsters.”

Hats off to special effects team
GMA Network became the first one to use motion-capture for the series.
“Iyon ‘yung motion sensor na ilalagay sa katawan para ma-capture ‘yung mas fluid na movements for the CGI.”

Alden praised the GMA Post Production team on their impressive work.
“Hands down ako, parang nag-level up ng dalawang levels ‘yung ipapakita nila ngayon sa Victor Magtanggol.“

Grateful to GMA bosses
Alden expressed his gratitude to GMA executives for throwing their full support to the show. No stone was left unturned to make Victor Magtanggol a big TV event.
“Nakakatuwa po talaga ang support ng network. GMA has always been there. I’ve never felt this treatment before sa mga shows na nagawa ko. WithVictor Magtanggol ngayon, I’m so thankful sa mga bossing ko sa taas sa sobrang support. Ramdam na ramdam ko po (ang) 110,000% (support).“

It is no surprise that the Kapuso A-lister is excited for the show’s pilot episode which airs on July 30, Monday.
“Sobrang excited na po kami na makita ‘yung pilot day. Na-preview na namin siya most of the scenes. Panoorin niyo na lang po, and let us know your feedback. Masaya po kami sa end product ng show.”
