Singer-actress Vina Morales is grateful about the outcome of the kidnapping case against his former husband Cedric Lee.
Vina took to Instagram to thank God for according to her is an #AnsweredPrayer. In an Instagram post featuring a cross taken at Padre Pio Shrine in Quezon City where Vina is a devotee, she thanked God, Padre Pio, for her family and friends and lawyer Atty. Lucille Sering for helping her in the case.

On Monday, May 28, 2018, Mandaluyong RTC Branch 77 found Cedric Lee guilty of the crime of kidnapping and was ordered to pay P300 fine, P25,000 for moral damages, and another P25,000 for nominal damages.
In the decision penned by Judge Anthony Fama, the court said “The action of the accused in not immediately returning the custody of minor Ceana was premeditated, intentional and malicious, as he adamantly refused to return the custody of minor Ceana to the private complainant, through her sister, when he is legally obligated to do so”.
Vina Morales filed the kidnapping charges in 2016 after alleging that former husband Cedric Lee detained their daughter Ceana for 9 days causing her “slight behavioral changes”.
