Valeen Montenegro answers those who push her to other love teams.
She has an upcoming romantic comedy movie, her first lead role, titled “The Write Moment.”In this movie, she will be paired with the comedian Jerald Napoles and they have love scenes together.
When asked if she experienced a feeling of discomfort, she answered, “No, kasi it really helped na magkaibigan na kami and two years na kaming magkatrabaho in GMA Network’s ‘Sunday Pinasaya’ kaya comfortable na kami sa isa’t isa. I know I can trust him fully.”
The actress is also being linked to Alden Richards, and to the “Sunday PinaSaya” co-host Ruru Madrid, who is said to be the reason why she broke up with her non-showbiz boyfriend.
She looks back to the time when she was bashed when linked to Alden Richards. In Ruru’s case, she said, “Nakasama ko rin si Ruru sa recent show niyang ‘Sherlock Jr’ at naging close kami, but, sa totoo lang, baby brother ko lang siya.”
Valeen also addressed the rumors about her break up with the non-showbiz boyfriend, “Hindi totoong my boyfriend and I have broken up. Nine years na kami at kami pa rin. He’s a football coach and a businessman at magkasosyo kami sa isang coffee shop.”
She admits that Ruru is cute, good-looking, very talented, and has a good character. However, he is too young for her with eight years gap in age, and she doesn’t like a showbiz boyfriend.
